MAP Talk: Household Debt and the Coronavirus

Join the upcoming MAP Talk to discuss household debt prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and what those levels mean for a swift economic recovery.

May's MAP Talk will feature Dr. George Hammond and Jennifer Pullen from the Economic and Business Research Center at the University of Arizona. George and Jennifer will discuss how leveraged households were prior to the COVID-19 induced recession, how Tucson's income-to-debt ratio compared to peer metros, and the implications of debt on the COVID-19 economic recovery.

MAP Talks are webinars featuring guest speakers, Jennifer Pullen (MAP Dashboard Coordinator), and George Hammond (EBRC Director). MAP Talks will last 30 minutes with time for Q&A at the end and we anticipate new MAP Talks approximately every other month.

Webinar spots are limited to 500 participants.

When: Monday, May 18th
Time: 10:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Location: From the comfort of your office or home. Webinar details will be emailed to those that register.
