The MAP Dashboard has recently added new indicators. One of the latest is Physical Well-Being, which explores the overall health of local residents and the prevalence of common health conditions through a nation-wide survey. In 2015, 84.2% of respondents in the Tucson Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) reported that they were in good or excellent health. This ranked Tucson fifth among peer western metropolitan areas, with Denver leading the way. Regular physical activity plays an important role in one’s health and the prevention of many health related diseases.
